Every release of WA Bulk Messenger — what's live, what's being reviewed, and what's coming next.
Version 0.9.6
IN REVIEW July 18, 2026Choose your typing speed — a new setting lets you pick how fast messages are typed into the chat: Slow, Normal, or Fast. It starts on Slow, the safest and most natural-looking pace, and you can speed it up whenever you want.
Warm-up auto-reply — upload a simple two-column sheet (keyword in column A, reply in column B) and turn the toggle on. When someone messages you a word that matches, the extension automatically sends back your chosen reply, typed like a real person. It watches only your most recent unread chats (you choose how many, default 10), and it never runs while a bulk campaign is sending, so the two never interfere.
Resume where you left off — if you close the WhatsApp tab or log back in during a campaign, reopening the extension now offers to continue sending to only the remaining contacts. Everyone who was already messaged is skipped automatically, so no one is contacted twice.
Reset & re-link a number — a one-click option logs out of WhatsApp Web, clears the local session, and returns you to the QR screen so you can link a fresh number, then continues your campaign from where it paused. (Note: this cannot change your IP address or device — those remain manual steps.)
Auto-reply and typing speed are built entirely on the on-screen chat — no WhatsApp internal signals are used — keeping the behaviour indistinguishable from a real user.
Version 0.9.5
PUBLISHED July 16, 2026File + text send fixed — when a campaign sends a file (PDF, image, or video) followed by a text message, the text now waits until the file is fully delivered before it starts typing. Previously the follow-up text could begin too early and interrupt the send. This directly resolves the reported issue where the line stopped right after the file was sent.
Smart warm-up for new numbers — a brand-new WhatsApp number now ramps up gradually over its first week (a safe daily send limit that rises each day, starting at 20) to protect it from being blocked, then unlocks full volume. Established numbers that already have real chat history are recognised as trusted and send at full speed with no warm-up limit.
Optional opt-out line — a checkbox on the message screen lets you choose whether to append the "reply STOP to unsubscribe" line to every message. Leave it on for compliance, or switch it off to send a clean message exactly as you typed it.
Smarter human sending pace — messages to new or unsaved contacts are spaced further apart than messages to your saved contacts, sending naturally slows down late at night, and the app never sends faster than two messages per minute.
Automatic protection — a campaign now pauses itself if several messages fail in a row (a sign the number may be getting restricted) or when a new number reaches its safe daily limit, so you can check the number before continuing instead of burning through your whole list.
Cold-contact safeguards — new numbers are limited to a small number of first-time (unsaved) contacts per day, and the app avoids re-messaging someone who was already contacted once and never replied — both are among the most common causes of number blocks.
Version 0.9.4
July 14, 2026Internal API send path removed — all messages now go through the WhatsApp compose box with character-by-character typing, identical to a real user. The previous fast-path used WhatsApp's internal SEND_TEXT_DIRECT signal which is a detectable bot fingerprint.
Typing indicator sent programmatically removed — WhatsApp's real typing indicator triggers automatically as characters are typed into the compose box. Sending a separate SEND_COMPOSING ping was a duplicate signal that WhatsApp could identify as non-human.
Number validation delay humanised — delay between number checks is now a random 800–2,500 ms with an 8% chance of a longer 2–6 s pause, matching the irregular rhythm of a person manually checking numbers.
Each WhatsApp number is now exclusively bound to the email that first registered it — a different email account trying to use the same number now sees a clear warning and their own monthly quota is left completely untouched.
"Number linked to another account" popup — corrected the title, body, and button. The old popup incorrectly said "Monthly limit reached" with an "Upgrade to PRO" button. The new popup explains the number is already used by another account and shows a single OK dismiss button.
Version 0.9.3
July 12, 2026Character-by-character typing simulation — messages are now typed into WhatsApp one character at a time, exactly like a real person typing on a keyboard. Each character has its own natural micro-delay so the typing pattern looks completely human to WhatsApp's systems. Built by the WA Bulk Messenger engineering team as a client requirement.
Wami AI message rewrite (extension) — tap the AI button in the message composer, pick a tone (Friendly, Professional, Urgent, Casual, or Formal), and Wami rewrites your message instantly. A green shimmer effect plays while Wami thinks, then the result types itself out character by character. PRO plan exclusive.
Revert after AI rewrite — a "Rewritten by Wami" bar appears inside the composer card after every AI rewrite. One tap on Revert instantly restores your original message, so you can always go back.
Wami AI chatbot (website) — a floating AI assistant on wabulkmessenger.com answers any question about the product: pricing, plans, features, version history, how to get started, and competitor comparisons. Click the logo button in the bottom-right corner to open it.
Wami AI is PRO-only — free users who tap the AI button see a clear inline upgrade prompt with a direct link to PRO, instead of a non-functional button.
Website features section updated — new feature cards added (Wami AI Rewrite, Message Spintax, Anti-Ban Protection) to accurately reflect what the extension does today.
Pricing cards and comparison table updated — FREE and PRO feature lists now include all current features. Comparison table has 7 new rows: number validation, message spintax, per-contact attachments, human typing simulation, custom send delay control, auto rest breaks, and Wami AI rewrite. Scheduled campaigns and follow-up sequences are correctly marked as "coming in v2".
Paragraph format fix — messages with multiple lines or paragraphs now arrive correctly formatted on the recipient's phone. Previously, all line breaks collapsed into a single block of text. Every paragraph and line break is now preserved exactly as written. This fix works together with the character-by-character typing so both formatting and anti-detection are fully intact.
Version 0.9.2
July 11, 2026SIM cards no longer blocked at session start — WhatsApp was detecting the software the moment a SIM was linked, before any message was sent. Removed all detectable software fingerprints from the session-establishment flow so the extension is invisible to WhatsApp from the very first connection.
Typing indicator now visible on the recipient's phone — the "…" bubble appears while each message is being composed, exactly as it does when a real person types. Recipients see natural typing behaviour before every message arrives.
File sent first, text message follows separately — when a campaign includes both a file (PDF, image, video) and a text message, the file is delivered first as its own message, then the text follows after a natural pause. This matches exactly how a real person sends files on WhatsApp.
Random delays between every action — opening the chat, composing, and sending each have their own randomised pause, making the full sequence indistinguishable from a person manually sending messages one by one.
No more "Leave site?" popup interrupting campaigns — the browser dialog that appeared when switching between contacts is completely eliminated. Campaigns run silently from start to finish.
Version 0.9.1
July 10, 2026Smarter country picker — instead of scrolling through a list of 196 countries, just type your dial code (e.g. 52) or country name (e.g. Mexico) and the correct option appears instantly.
Mexican phone numbers now work correctly — numbers in the old 13-digit format are automatically converted to the current standard before sending, eliminating false "invalid number" errors for Mexican contacts.
Kosovo (+383) is now available in the country picker — it was previously missing from the list.
Support tickets are now submitted instantly — even if email delivery takes longer, your message is received immediately and never lost.
Version 0.9
July 9, 2026Message spinning — write {Hi|Hello|Hey} {name} and every recipient gets a different greeting picked at random. A live counter shows how many unique combinations your message produces, making each send feel personal and reducing spam flags.
Custom send delay — set your own minimum and maximum delay between messages on the Review screen. A live safety badge (Safe / Medium Risk / High Risk) updates as you type so you always know the risk before starting.
Safer default delays — raised to 20–45 s (PRO) and 30–60 s (FREE), the range recommended by the WhatsApp sending community for staying under the radar.
More human-like timing — delays follow a natural pattern where most messages go out at a comfortable pace with occasional longer pauses, making your campaign much harder to identify as automated.
Automatic rest breaks — every 15–22 messages the campaign pauses for 2–5 minutes, simulating a real person stepping away from their phone. The break length and interval are both randomised every time.
Messages always go to the right contact — fixed a silent bug where WhatsApp appeared to switch chats but actually stayed on the previous conversation, causing messages to be delivered to the wrong person.
Typing indicator now appears on the recipient's phone before your message arrives — makes your messages feel natural and human rather than instant-fire automated sends.
Per-lead attachments no longer stop working after an extension update — fixed an issue where the file database connection wasn't closing cleanly, causing attachments to fail after Chrome updated the extension in the background.
Phone numbers that already include a country code in the name column are now handled correctly — the country code is no longer dropped or replaced with the wrong one.
Version 0.8
July 8, 2026International pricing — users outside India are now billed $9 USD/month. The extension automatically detects your country and shows the correct price at checkout. Indian users continue to see ₹499 with no changes.
Checkout page now shows the correct currency and amount for your country — no more confusion with INR amounts showing to international users.
Version 0.7
July 6, 2026Send a different file to each contact — name your files after each recipient's phone number (e.g. 919876543210.pdf) and the extension automatically sends each person their own file. Contacts without a matching file receive the text message only.
Number validation is now Step 2 of the Campaign Wizard — every number is checked against WhatsApp before you write your message, so you never waste a send on a number that isn't on WhatsApp.
Validation results are now accurate — a bug in v0.6 was marking all numbers as valid regardless of whether they were on WhatsApp. Fully fixed.
Validation results shown in green (valid) and red (removed) sections — download the removed numbers as a CSV in one click.
Campaign auto-pauses if you get logged out of WhatsApp — instead of failing through your entire list, it stops at the current contact and shows a banner so you can log back in and resume exactly where you left off.
Numbers that temporarily fail validation on slow connections are automatically retried once before being marked as invalid — fewer false removals.
Version 0.6
July 4, 2026Validate Numbers — check your entire contact list before sending. Numbers not on WhatsApp are highlighted and can be removed in one click from the Review screen.
Validation runs instantly in the background without slowing down WhatsApp Web.
Note: validation results were inaccurate in this version (all numbers showed as valid). Fixed in v0.7.
Version 0.5
July 2, 2026WhatsApp Web is no longer slow after installing the extension — eliminated a background process that was running 60 times per second even when no campaign was active.
WhatsApp Web now runs at full speed when idle — background monitoring is completely paused between campaigns and only activates when a send is in progress.
Spanish language support — switch to Español (México) instantly from Settings. Every screen is fully translated including the Campaign Wizard, Reports, Templates, Contacts, Blacklist, and Support.
Version 0.4
July 1, 2026Fixed WhatsApp Web becoming slow and laggy after installing the extension — the background observer was re-scanning the entire page on every change. Now it only looks at what's new.
WhatsApp Web's message input, emoji picker, and media uploads no longer stutter or freeze when the extension is active.
Version 0.3
June 30, 2026Message Templates — save your best-performing messages and reuse them in future campaigns from the More tab.
Blacklist — any contact who replies STOP is automatically added to your blacklist and skipped in all future campaigns.
Download Contacts — export your WhatsApp contacts or group members as a CSV, or launch a campaign directly from the downloaded list.
Campaign Reports — full history of every campaign with per-contact delivery status and CSV export.
In-app Support — submit a support ticket directly from the extension without leaving WhatsApp Web.
Live quota bar on the Campaign Wizard shows exactly how many messages you have left in your plan before you start.
Fixed a bug where media messages with captions were sent twice when retrying a failed contact.
Version 0.2
June 29, 2026Media support — attach images, videos, and PDFs (up to 25 MB) to any campaign.
Message personalisation — use {{name}} and {{phone}} in your message and each recipient gets their own unique version.
Live campaign monitor — watch each message send in real time with per-contact status (Sent / Failed / Skipped).
Pause and resume — stop a campaign at any time and pick up exactly where you left off.
Randomised delays between messages to reduce the chance of WhatsApp rate limiting your number.
Version 0.1
June 27, 2026First release — send bulk text messages to any list of WhatsApp numbers directly from WhatsApp Web. No WhatsApp Business API required.
Contact groups encrypted and stored locally in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
Free plan: 50 messages/month, 20 per campaign.
PRO plan: 5,000 messages/month, 100 per campaign.
